Welcoming you with a glass of Prosecco in a beautiful location (Agriturismo) right in the
heart of the prosecco wine district (DOCG) you will learn how to make the homemade
Italian pizza with the preparation according to the traditional Italian recipe. We will
prepare dough with various ingredients and try different types of this recipe which may
be savoury or sweet, filled with cold cuts and cheese or topped with cherry tomatoes and
oregano. One thing is sure, the main ingredient of focaccia is always what Italians refer
to as ‘liquid gold’: extra virgin olive oil.
After that you will learn how to make the “pappardelle”, a type of Italian pasta
characterized by the large size of its broad or homemade “gnocchi di patate” (potato
dumplings). They will be paired with homemade tomato sauce. Enjoy a meal with
traditional venetian recipes as fegato alla veneziana (Venetian liver and onions) or sarde
in saor (sardines and onions) and sweet peppers, eggplant. To finish off on a sweet note,
we will prepare a delicious Tiramisù the typical cake from Veneto. Your lunch will be
paired with quality Italian prosecco.
