San Gimignano, Siena. Walking in the Middle Ages. From Florence
Visit Siena and San Gimignano also called “The Manhattan of the Middle Ages” an absolute must for

culture. This tour offers delicious Tuscany wine and a tasty lunch.
A minibus with a private driver will pick you up around 8.30 am from your hotel in Florence from where
your tour will start visiting the medieval village of San Gimignano UNESCO Heritage with entrance to the
Duomo and a tower to admire the splendid panorama over the city and the Chianti hills. Enjoy the beautiful
squares, churches, and side streets strolling through the town on your own.
Afterwards you will head out to an old winery farm with a splendid view over the vineyards where you will
relish a tasty typical lunch savouring local products and wine (Chianti, Vernaccia, Rosè wine). In addition,
the ancient tower will be opened on the occasion of the year 800 owned by the winery farm.
In the afternoon the tour will continue to Siena, world-renowned for its Palio horse race with its
remarkable architecture (Cathedral, Palazzo comunale). Free time for shopping in the streets of the center.
Return in the evening.
